Sock Monkey birthday!

Here's a fun little card featuring the ever-adorable sock monkey!

I stamped the monkey on Kraft card stock and used bleach to lighten his hands, feet, muzzle, and tail. Then I used my Real Red Stampin' Write marker to colour his mouth and bottom. The cupcake image is popped up on a dimensional! This is very similar to my son's 1st birthday invitation from last year:)

July birthdays!

I have two sisters with birthdays in July, so I was really happy to see Shelli's challenge focused on these projects!

This is the card I CASEd from the catalogue and made over for my sister Lauren's birthday (July 7).

You can't see it in the photo, but the drinks are embossed with Iridescent Ice for sparkle - Lauren loves bling:)

This is the card I created using the new Tri-Shutter style for my sister Jenny's birthday (July 23 - today!)

Here is the outside of the card...

And here is the inside! I LOOOOOVE this Pink Flamingo DSP, although you couldn't have told me that before I ordered some for a paper share! The colours are so vibrant, and I love the patterns!

This wasn't part of the birthday ensemble, but a little treat box I had made up for some workshops recently also using the Pink Flamingo DSP. It's made from two of the Box #2 Big Shot dies sandwiched back to back, so there is a compartment on each side for treats! Such a fun idea.
